Dorset Council 2018 Insurance Services Tender

Due to Local Government Reorganisation in Dorset, Dorset County Council on behalf of itself, East Dorset District Council, North Dorset District Council, Purbeck District Council, West Dorset District Council and Weymouth & Portland Borough Council is inviting tenders for insurance services for the new council, Dorset Council, which will come into being on 1st April 2019 and will replace the above authorities as the new unitary authority. Cover to commence by the above date. To be clear the insurance covers will be for Dorset Council and not Dorset County Council, which is procuring in preparation for the new unitary authority. Local Government Reorganisation From 1 April 2019, Dorset County Council and five of the six Dorset District Councils (excluding Christchurch) will combine to form a new council called Dorset Council.
