Purchase of a DeltaVision Elite High Resolution Microscope for one of our research labs. Purchase of a DeltaVision Elite High Resolution Microscope for one of our research lab. This machine is required for the following reasons: — Ability to record up to 10 live cell video images simultaneously — The DeltaVision Elite High resolution microscope prevents Photobleaching — allowing specimens to be imaged with very brief illumination periods therefore reducing phototoxicity and photbleaching. The Deltavision will allow us to keep cells alive longer and track dynamic events. — It maintains the sample Z position regardless of pertubations (temperature, drug or CO2 changes) during the course of an experiment. — The ability to use seven colour solid state Illumination (SSI) for fluorescence excitation. — The ability to utilise UV-laser for Calcofluor White staining.
