Tender description

The BBC has awarded the contract(s) for the for supply and delivery to major BBC locations of Newspapers and publications subscription services. The lots include: — Lot 1: Hard Copy Daily Newspapers, and Online Subscription Services (estimated contract value over 5 years — 5 000 000 GBP), — Lot 2: Early Edition Newspapers (estimated contract value over 5 years — 1 500 000 GBP). As the same tenderer has been successful for both lots the BBC has awarded both lots under one contract. The contract has a term of 3 years from 1.11.2018 to 31.10.2021, the contract may be extended, numerous times and in any increment but shall not exceed 24 months (a maximum term of 5 years). For the avoidance of doubt, lot 2 services will commence on 17.12.2018, to allow Ninety (90) days notice of termination, and to transition from the outgoing service provider. Hard copy daily newspapers, and online subscription services delivered to BBC locations uk-wide on a daily basis. Early edition newspapers delivered daily within London (inside the M25)
