Tender description
The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) intends to appoint the British Standards Institution (BSI) develop a Publicly Available Specification (PAS): guidance on testing and certification of hydrogen gas appliances for use within the Department's UK Hydrogen for Heat (Hy4Heat) demonstration programme that will conclude by the end of March 2021. BEIS requires a Publicly Available Specification (PAS): guidance on testing and certification of hydrogen gas appliances for use within the Department's UK Hydrogen for Heat (Hy4Heat) demonstration programme, which has the overall aim to establish if it is technically possible and safe to replace methane with hydrogen in commercial and residential buildings and gas appliances. The Hy4Heat programme will conclude by the end of March 2021.
