Tender description

NHS Harrow Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) wishes to invite expressions of interest and engagement from providers interested in delivering a new Community Gynaecology Service for patients resident in Harrow and also potentially in Brent. The Service will provide a community-based service for patients with routine gynaecological conditions. The service will be provided by appropriately qualified clinical practitioners, consultants and administrators. By bringing the service to the community it is anticipated that patients will have rapid access to a high quality, safe and clinically effective service that is flexible and responsive to patient needs. The service will also contribute to improved clinical outcomes by reducing the time to assessment, diagnosis and treatment and by supporting increased patient understanding of their conditions to enable better self-care and management of chronic conditions. The CCG’s vision is to support non-complex/routine referrals to be dealt with in a community setting, with only complex and urgent referrals going to secondary care.
