Tender description

NHS Kent and Medway CCG are looking to procure elective service contracts from Independent Sector Hospitals to improve access and promote choice. CCGs within Kent and Medway have committed to consistently commissioning services from independent sector hospitals. It is our intention to join up with a Kent and Medway wide approach involving one lead K&M CCG per provider with the other CCGs holding associate status. The eight Kent and Medway Clinical Commissioning Groups (South Kent Coast CCG, Thanet CCG, Canterbury and Coastal CCG, Ashford CCG, West Kent CCG, Medway CCG, Swale CCG and Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley CCG) intend to procure elective service contracts from Independent Sector Hospitals to improve access and promote choice within available CCG budgets as part of the Kent and Medway Sustainability and Transformation Plan. CCGs are only looking to commission Hospital based provision within their CCG boundaries, across Kent and Medway STP, to ensure equitable travel access for all patients.
