Tender description
3.1 The primary Aims of the Service are: • To prevent family breakdown and enable children & young people to stay at home. • To prevent children becoming looked after. • If a child cannot remain with their immediate family, to determine who can look after them within their wider family unit - this may include friends. • To empower extended families to engage in the child protection and legal proceedings processes; give them the opportunity to make appropriate and safe plans for their children, and feel heard and respected. • To empower children to shape plans for their future, and feel heard and respected.
