Tender description

Peabody Trust, following their merger with Family Mosaic in July 2017 are now looking for a comprehensive soft FM offering with one, prime contractor to support their Corporate and non-residential estate comprising 3 main office locations and a number of smaller office and community buildings in London, and 2 main offices in the South East. The ambition is to have this contract awarded by March/Spring 2019. The offering should comprise of: — contract management, — cleaning, — pest control, — sanitation and hygiene services, — security in the form of manned guarding, — catering and hospitality, — waste management (including confidential waste). Following the merger the opportunity exists to rationalise the soft services supply chain under a prime contractor who will self-deliver the major services in the contract, with the option to outsource smaller elements to their supply chain where it would prove more cost effective, and manage that provision and supply chain on behalf of Peabody’s corporate and community estate. Cost reduction (in overheads) and improvements in quality outcomes are the key procurement drivers, and innovation is to be actively encouraged. Peabody Trust will be looking to initially engage the market to provide greater detail around the requirement, the sites involved, the scope, the proposed type of procurement exercise and the structure of the contract, and the mechanisms around performance monitoring. This will also be an opportunity for prospective bidders to meet the client, ask questions and propose improvements to the solution we're pitching out to the market.
