London Borough of Croydon, Community Equipment Services is establishing a new Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the procurement of 5 new categories to purchase equipment for the Integrated Procurement Hub (IPH). These categories are: Beds & Associated Equipment, this is to support the Council's strategy of opening up the market to ensure availability of compliant and standardised equipment to our partners and end users. Dynamic Purchases for Croydon Community Equipment Services on behalf of other boroughs and the NHS. It is intended that this opportunity is open to our existing suppliers, as well as new suppliers. The DPS provides an opportunity to deliver equipment that meets the specifications published and at competitive prices, while developing a wider market to capture new innovations and products, whilst opportunity is open to new entrants into the market since the last procurement exercise. The DPS structure is intended to provide clarity on the categorisation of products and provide ease of ordering process to our partners while the tendering process bring the purchasing operations into compliance with the PCR 2015.
