Community Gynaecology Services in Harrow - Market Engagement

NHS Harrow Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) wishes to invite expressions of interest and engagement from providers interested in delivering a new Community Gynaecology Service for patients resident in Harrow. There is the potential of delivering this service for residents of Harrow and Brent also. The CCG's vision is to support non-complex/routine referrals to be dealt with in a community setting, with only complex and urgent referrals going to secondary care. By bringing the service to the community it is anticipated that patients will have rapid access to a high quality, safe and clinically effective service that is flexible and responsive to patient needs. The service will also contribute to improved clinical outcomes by reducing the time to assessment, diagnosis and treatment and by supporting increased patient understanding of their conditions to enable better self-care and management of chronic conditions. You are invited to review the attached draft Service Specification and supporting Memorandum of Information (MOI), then provide feedback to the CCG. To express your interest in providing this service, and to provide your feedback, providers are asked to complete the short questionnaire below and return by email to susan.shaw25@nhs.net by 12 noon on Friday 26th October 2018 with the email Subject Heading "Market Engagement Response - Harrow and Brent - Community Gynecology Service " Participation in the engagement exercise is not a mandatory requirement for participating in any potential future procurement however responses received will assist to inform the Commissioner regarding the final specification of its requirements and what might be the most process to award any contract, including whether a competitive process will be appropriate / necessary.
