Who Speclialist Work With DVSA requires a Business Analyst to work alongside a Project Manager, Service Analyst and Technical Architect to engage with stakeholders and undertake a Discovery exercise which will inform its future procurement strategy for Technical Support Services (TSS). The Business Analyst will • make sure outcomes are aligned with service vision and business strategy by contributing to the link between current and future business models and delivering to the business architecture • challenge constructively and provide critical analysis to achieve solutions that are fit for purpose • facilitate collaboration and lead effective communication with all stakeholders to support design, build and delivery to meet all user needs. Where the Work Takes Place The primary location is Nottingham, maybe required to travel to other locations e.g. Bristol, Leeds and Swansea. Early Market Engagement Working Arrangements Up to 20 days over the 6-week period. Work Schedule to be agreed with the DVSA project team. Security Clearance Suppliers should only put forward interims who have a valid Basic Disclosure Scotland Certificate, or higher if requested and are reminded that interims must be security cleared to Baseline Personnel Security Standard level before they can start in a role. Additional T&Cs Skills & Experience can investigate problems and analysing options for new and existing services and providing recommendation for solutions that align with business objectives, strategy and user needs, can work with a wide range of stakeholders to identify objectives, opportunities and potential benefits, can define requirements/user stories requirements and setting of business priorities for change initiatives, can identify and working with key stakeholders; communicating with them using appropriate methods and working with teams to meet user needs; managing conflicting views to reach consensus. understand working with stakeholders and improving working relationships, using evidence to explain decisions made. engage stakeholders to collate user needs evidence, defining research which fits user needs. Able to use quantitative and qualitative data about users to turn user focus into outcomes. can work within a large-scale transformation programme / environment.
