Zero Waste Scotland is looking to appoint a retail specialist to support the certification Programme. You must have a proven track record coupled with an imaginative and flexible approach to delivering high quality, cost effective training and support services within specific deadlines. Zero Waste Scotland is looking for a supplier with specific expertise in second-hand retailing. Revolve is Scotland’s national re-use quality standard for stores that sell second hand goods. It is a quality and improvement Programme designed to increase the purchase of second hand goods over new across Scotland. The Programme consists of 2 strands – the certification of stores meeting product and retail standards, and the promotion of the brand to Scottish consumers. The certification Programme consists of: — a baseline assessment of organisational and product checking processes, — mystery shopper visit and report, — retail training, — on-site bespoke retail support, — support materials (including product checking guidance and visual merchandising e-news), — retail audit and — final validation.
