WDC - DPS for the provision of MOTs and inspections for Taxis within Warwick district

Warwick District Council invites applications from suitably experienced operators for admission to the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). The DPS will be used to commission MOTs and/or inspections. Hackney carriages and private hire vehicles are subject to much higher annual mileages and more intensive use than normal private vehicles. The resulting accelerated rate of component wear requires a regular and thorough maintenance programme if the vehicle is to remain safe. Safety is of paramount importance to Warwick District Council, for this reason hackney carriage and private hire vehicles must be inspected by authorised testing stations throughout their service life. Warwick District Council is seeking a number of a testing stations across the district that are able to test vehicles that are to be used for hackney carriage or private hire work in accordance with a standard MOT Test and against the standards and requirements laid down by the Councils Wear and Tear Guide. https://www.warwickdc.gov.uk/downloads/file/3277/vehicle_wear_and_tear_guide Warwick District Council invites applications from suitably experienced operators for admission to the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS).
