SOG-ITT-ED-Public Service Obligations for the Provision of Scheduled Air Services on the Alderney-Guernsey and Alderney-Southampton Routes

Tender description

The States of Guernsey are launching two Public Service Obligation (PSO) air routes from the Island of Alderney: one to Guernsey and one to Southampton. Alderney is the third largest of the Channel Islands and is part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey, a British Crown Dependency. Alderney is located 20 miles from the north-east of Guernsey, 60 miles from the south coast of Great Britain, and 10 miles from the west coast of Normandy, France. For each route, the PSO will entitle the chosen operator to be the sole operator of scheduled air services on that route.
