Tender description

Milton Keynes Council needed to increase the range and number of supported living opportunities primarily for adults with learning disabilities and autism, although other adults may be supported if appropriate. The preferred provider list was established on the 2.2.2015 and runs until 1.2.2021. Working within this agreement, arrange of supported living providers are available to meet the diverse needs of adults with learning disabilities and/or autism by providing appropriate housing related and social care support relating to individual needs. This service specification is for supported living services for adults with a learning disability and/or autism spectrum disorder who have been assessed as meeting “critical” or “substantial” needs as defined by the Milton Keynes Council Eligibility Criteria for services and who live within the Borough of Milton Keynes. Provision of supported living services for adults with a learning disability and/or autism spectrum disorder by providing appropriate housing related and social care support relating to individual needs. The preferred provider list was established on the 2.2.2015 and runs until the 1.2.2021. The contract operates like a Framework Agreement where the Council allocates work packages based on its requirements. The budget is 12 000 000 GBP for the period September 2018 to February 2021, however the contract value is variable as subject to call-offs. The value quoted is the estimated budget value over the term of the contract.
