Tender description

The supply of Fire Fighting Foam, for operational and training fire fighting, for the MOD. In April 15 the MOD signed a thirteen year contract with Leidos Europe Ltd to provide the procurement and inventory management of commodity items (as well as the storage and distribution services) historically provided in-house by the Logistic Commodities and Services Operating Centre. Leidos, working with the MOD, will transform the way these services are delivered to ensure requirements continue to be met whilst providing best value for money for the department. The organisation delivering these services is known as Team Leidos. Team Leidos would like to make interested suppliers aware that it intends to invite tenders for its supply of items including Fire-Fighting Operational Foam Concentrate, Training Foam and Dry Powder capable of working in arctic, temperate and tropical temperatures in both high and low humidity and in all weather conditions. Must also comply with BS-EN 1568 (2008), International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) 9137-AN/898 Level B and/or Civilian Aviation Publication (CAP) 168 Chapter 8 Regulations, compliant with Persistent Organic Pollutant Regulations and be PFOS/PFOA free.
