Provision of eMarketplace solution to Maynooth University

Tender description

Maynooth University (MU) requires the provision of an eMarketplace solution that will allow university buyers to search for and purchase goods and services from pre-approved suppliers and centrally agreed contracts. MU is currently undertaking a project to implement a Purchase Order Processing (POP) system as an add-on module of its financial information system. It is intended that the eMarketplace solution will supplement POP and allow seamless purchasing of high volume goods such as stationery, ICT consumables and laboratory supplies. MU has identified an initial 30-plus catalogues that it wishes to make available via the proposed solution. The successful tenderer will be expected to work with MU in order to ensure that all of its centrally negotiated contracts can be hosted via the chosen solution.
