Solent NHS Trust has a contract for the provision for Mental Health Recovery Teams. The trust intends to award a further 3 year contract as this service is in a period of transformation and uncertainty on funding which prevents it being in a position to clearly define the opportunity. Direct award of three year contract for the provision of Mental Health Recovery Teams to the current provider Solent Mind. The service is undergoing a period of transformation. This prevents Solent NHS Trust being in a position to clearly define the opportunity. The incumbent provider provides specific support and recovery services. It provides person-centred, flexible and responsive support to mental health service users of Solent NHS Trust Recovery Teams in Portsmouth, to aid them in their recovery, complementing the role of clinical and social care professionals. In addition the current provider works closely with other non-statutory services and community resources to develop and promote service users' independence, peer-led opportunities and individual recovery.
