Tender description
The Council intends to extend an existing Dynamic Purchasing System (“DPS") for the provision of home support services to include the provisions of those services to children between the ages of 0 and 18 years of age. The original DPS (which is referenced 2016/5099-160) related to the commissioning of home support services to vulnerable adults. The value of these additional services fall within the contract value of the original DPS. The extension of the existing DPS does not render the contract materially different in character in that there will be no substantive changes being made to the types of services being procured under the same specification and payment terms. The Council considers that the extension of the current DPS is lawful for the reasons set out at paragraph 3 of Annex D1.
