Tender description

Barriers to and Enablers of the Reporting of Intelligence Regarding Food Crime: The National Food Crime Unit (NFCU), a component of the Food Standards Agency (FSA), wishes to commission social and behavioural science research examining the factors which encourage or impede the reporting of intelligence regarding criminal activity to the NFCU by individuals and organisations. The aims of this research are to identify enablers and barriers which support or impede the reporting of criminal intelligence (phase 1), and to devise and trial potential means of overcoming these barriers to increase the volume and improve the quality of intelligence about food crime received by NFCU (phase 2).
