Tender description

BEIS wants to gauge market interest to bid for a 1-year contract to administer the Green Deal Oversight and Registration Body (GD ORB) from 1.7.2019. Due to changes in the energy efficiency industry we will keep under review its continued need, with an option to extend by up to 1 year. The GD ORB is BEIS' GD delivery arm. It: — acts as Secretary to the GD Arrangements Agreement Panel, — authorises/withdraws GD Providers and Certification Bodies (CB), issuing the GD Quality Mark licence, — maintains/publishes the GD Participants and CB Registers (Registers), — provides information on the GD, via website, email helpdesk and industry engagement, — reports Register data and on-going administration to BEIS, — monitors compliance and address breaches identified, — undertakes changes to the service.
