Tender description
This Market sounding exercise is to enable West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) to gain a better understanding of the capabilities of the marketplace. This knowledge will assist the WMCA in planning its future procurement exercise in a way that best aligns with the capabilities of the marketplace and our customers. Participation in the Market sounding project is voluntary, and the project is entirely separate from any subsequent Fare collection system procurement activity. Participation in the Market sounding project will not affect the opportunity for suppliers to participate in any subsequent Fare collection system procurement, and will not form part of any Fare collection system procurement assessment or selection process. WMCA is keen to plan a Fare collection system procurement that delivers the best possible outcomes, and understands that this is best achieved by listening to the needs and capabilities of suppliers within the marketplace.
