Tender description

Nottingham City Council is undertaking a soft market testing exercise to canvass external providers of food procurement software to increase functionality and efficiency across various Nottingham City Council sites within the City. Once the soft market testing exercise is complete and the authority has developed it's requirements, a compliant procurement process will be completed in order to purchase a solution that is fit for purpose. We have approximately 80 sites across various council buildings, schools, commercial units, care homes and meals at home services, all of which use a single food procurement system which allows each site to place food orders, book off orders for invoicing, view recipes and menus, record stock and wastage and enter daily figures for sales/meals served. Nottingham City Council serves approximately 60 000 meals per week, with school meals totalling over 11 000 per day. With this in mind, it is imperative that the food procurement software is optimised to ensure that we are as efficient as possible in ordering food, recipe management, invoicing and reporting. The system will need to be accessible to Nottingham City Council staff, contracted suppliers and school pupils.
