The provision of a modern and flexible IT solution for conference and catering management, the hosting of which may be the responsibility of either the Supplier or the University of Bristol. The provision of a modern and flexible IT solution for conference and catering management, the hosting of which may the responsibility of either the University or the Supplier. The University of Bristol has approved a business case to procure a system to manage the conferencing and catering functions of its Residential and hospitality services division. The University would expect to deploy the new solution “out of the box” with minimal configuration and it is therefore of the utmost importance that the chosen system offers a suitable level of relevant functionality and is a close fit to the specified requirements. Full requirements are detailed in the procurement document but as a minimum, the University would expect the selected product to offer the high-level functionality below: Catering: — catering orders, — manage and track delivered catering, — manage catering for events. Conferencing: — log and track enquiries, — generate event proposals, — book rooms and catering, — produce event schedules, contracts, delegate packs and invoices, — track tasks, — B and B bookings.
