Structured opportunities to support recovery and independence for people with mental health needs. Day opportunities to support recovery and independence for people with mental health needs. The London Borough of Camden (“the Council”) procured the provision of a Mental health community support service programme of structured activities. The Service had a maximum unit cost of 1 500 GBP and a maximum annual value of 165 000 GBP for the provision of a programme of structured activities. Mental health community support services will provide time-limited, strength-based support to people in their communities. The key aim of the service is to reduce demand for long term social care services and to enable people to remain well in their communities. The service requires eligibility for social care services under the Care Act, and all areas will involve supporting people with complex mental health needs. The contracts will is for an initial period of 2,5 years commencing on or around 19.11.2018 with the option of 2 extensions for 1 year each.
