North Northamptonshire Council and West Northamptonshire Council - Tier 2 Home Care Services

Tender description

<p>North Northamptonshire Council ("NNC") and West Northamptonshire Council ("WNC") wishes to invite Tenders for the supply of Tier 2 Home Care Services. The successful Provider(s) will be responsible for providing support to the Lead Providers and liaising closely with the Contract Manager identified by NNC and WNC.</p> <p><br />NNC and WNC are procuring a framework with the intention of selecting suppliers across fifteen (15) Home Care Services Lots. The framework is for three years with an option to extend for 24 months. NNC and WNC currently have contracts with Lead Providers in the 15 Geographical Zones. The lead providers aim to cover 70-80% of the available volume of home care in each Operational Zone. &nbsp;This framework is for a list of approved providers to cover the remaining 20-30% of volume in each of the geographical zones and will replace the existing Dynamic Purchasing System(DPS) which was due to expire in 2019.</p> <p>If during the life of the framework a Provider becomes unable to fulfil their contractual requirements under the awarded Lot or Operational Zone, NNC and WNC will, at their discretion, reopen the framework to source a new provider.</p> <p>In general terms and for the purposes of this Tender, &lsquo;Home Care Services&rsquo; should be taken to mean treating a Service User with dignity, compassion and respect, focusing on their health and well-being.
