Tender description

The London Borough of Tower Hamlets is inviting bids from established, suitably experienced and qualified organisations or groups of organisations to provide both services constituting public health services (0-5 years). — the anticipated contract start date is: Monday, 1.4.2019, for a period of: 5 + 1 +1 years with annual renewal/break clause, — the estimated contract value is 7 100 000 GBP per annum. Please note that the procurement exercise will be conducted in a manner broadly corresponding to the competitive procedure with negotiation under Regulation 29 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. At this stage you are required to submit an initial tender including completion of a Supplier Questionnaire (SQ). The London Borough of Tower Hamlets is inviting bids from established, suitably experienced and qualified organisations or groups of organisations to provide both services constituting public health services (0-5 years). The health visiting service and family nurse partnership are expected to support children’s healthy development and wellbeing through active engagement with communities, families and partnership working. LBTH has the highest levels of child poverty in the country, the number of live births to resident mothers has remained stable at approximately 4,600 births between 2013 and 2017, while the 0-4 population is projected to increase between 2018 and 2025 by approximately 4,5 %, from 22 000 to 23 000. bidders will be required to demonstrate: — a strong and demonstrable understanding and commitment. To these two key Public Health services: — equity of access and delivery across Tower Hamlets, — a thorough understanding of, and ability to respond to, the needs of parents and carers, children, and communities, and to adapt the service in accordance with those needs, — promotion of access to children and families who are most vulnerable to poor health (including emotional health and well-being), particularly those least likely to engage with other health services, — community gain and participation in delivery, — commitment to partnership working, — registration with the care quality commission.
