Tender description
This programme – “The Evidence Fund” will provide funding to generate primary research, evaluation, and synthesis to inform better policies and programmes at the country, regional and central level in response to demand within DFID. For the first time, the responsive funding mechanisms of 6 different RED teams will be brought together into a single programme. By pooling funding under a single programme, the Evidence Fund will provide a coherent, coordinated and cost efficient way to maximise the collective impact of policy-responsive evidence on key development issues, interventions and approaches. Key programme activities will include: — procurement and project management of high-quality, country or regionally relevant evidence products for DFID country offices in the East Africa, South Asia and Middle East and North Africa regions. Evidence products might include primary research or synthesis products on any topic of relevance to DFID country offices, — procurement and project man.
