Brief Description of Requirement The MLC has been running for approximately 15 years and the current burners are now out of date and almost unsupported by the manufacturer. The current system consists of: • 2 off Hartley and Sugden steam boilers • 2 off Hartley and Sugden LTHW boilers • All four burners are dual fuel: natural gas or kerosene This is not a new build or installation, this tender is for the replacement of the current Dunphy Ratiotronic 3000 dual fuel burners. The new burners must be compatible with the existing boilers. • The burners must safely attach to the furnace tubes • The external flues will not be changed • The burners must be appropriate to the conditions in which they are to be installed Please ensure you review all attached information to ensure a full understanding of this requirement. All attachments can be found with the RFx attachments tab within the Emptoris System. This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set out in the ITQ document.
