Tender description

To provide family, adult and community learning provision within Sunderland for the academic year 2018-19 Removing barriers to employment - To support personal development and confidence building. To develop generic employability skills, including qualifications at Foundation/Level 1 and work-related stand-alone units. Qualifications at levels 1 and 2, delivered as employer-led, vocational route-ways to meet local economic need. Priority will be given to health, wellbeing and social care, software and IT/digital, finance and customer service, logistics, automotive and manufacturing, retail and hospitality. To improve IT skills, to support access to Universal Credit applications, to help with job search, to develop work-related skills and for social inclusion/leisure purposes. To improve standards and encourage progression, from Entry Level to Level 2; provision will include FEML courses. To widen participation in learning, improve community cohesion and reduce social isolation; provision will include Wider Family Learning. To improve/maintain standards of health (including mental health) and/or social wellbeing, through engagement in community learning provision.
