Please note the deadline for Bids is Thursday 30th November 2017 at 11:00.** Construction has begun on the RRS Sir David Attenborough (SDA) - one of the most advanced polar research vessels in the world. From 2018 scientists researching oceans, ice and the atmosphere will have access to state-of-the-art facilities on this floating laboratory. The SDA will support seismic surveys thus NERC/BAS wish to purchase a digital hydrophone seismic streamer system. Please ensure you review all attached information to ensure a full understanding of this requirement. All attachments can be found with the RFx attachments tab within the Emptoris System. This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set out in the RFP document.
