Proposals are sought by London North West Healthcare NHS Trust for the Provision of Sponsorship of Stoma Care Specialist Nursing Services for a 5 year period, commencing 4.2018 with the option to extend for 2 further periods of 12 months. Proposals are sought by London North West Healthcare NHS Trust for the provision of sponsorship of Stoma Care Specialist Nursing Services for a 5 year period, commencing 4.2018 with the option to extend for 2 further periods of 12 months. LNWH NHS Trust is one of the largest integrated trusts in the UK comprising of tertiary, secondary and primary care patients which generates over 360 new stomas per annum. The Stoma Care Specialist Nursing Service also supports the private sector (Trust Plus) on the Northwick Park site. The overall running costs required to operate the department is calculated at approximately GBP 700 000 per annum inclusive of an educational grant of GBP 60 000 per annum to support a St Mark’s led programme for gastro-intestinal nurse education. The Trust seeks sponsorship of between 60-100 % of the overall running costs of the department from a key player in the stoma care industry. Sponsorship will take the form of a contribution to the department’s overall running costs, and the department shall be free to use any such contribution for the benefit of stoma care service requirements on any of the Trust’s sites as it deems fit, provided that it shall only be used to fund the operating of the stoma care department and not for any other purpose or department.
