Provision of Psychiatric Liaison Services at RM

The Royal Marsden has a vital role in championing change and improvement in cancer care through research and innovation, education and leading-edge practice, and in community services through innovation and partnership working. It is a leading provider of oncology services from two hospital sites: Fulham Road in London (105 beds including 16 critical care) and Sutton, Surrey (101 adult beds). The hospital provides diagnostic and treatment services for cancer - these include surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. The Royal Marsden is seeking a supplier who will be able to provide liaison psychiatry services to respond to inpatients and ambulatory care patients Monday- Friday 9-5pm and provide specialist outpatient psychiatry review of patients with mental health issues related to their cancer diagnosis and/or treatment. There is also a requirement for an out of hours service with the availability to attend to assess a patient on both sites of the hospital if required. This service will work very closely with the existing Adult Psychological Support Service.
