Provision of an Online Reading List System

Tender description

The University is seeking to replace our existing Reading List System to exploit new technologies; to maximise potential efficiencies in workflows and processes; to ensure rapid, seamless delivery of content to students and to enhance the student's library experience. The University currently uses rebus:list version 1 (from PTFS Europe / CLA & Kortext) to manage delivery and maintenance of reading lists. The system is openly available at https://cumbria.rebuslist.com/ The University has made major investment in our physical and electronic library resources, systems and services and it is essential that the Reading List System is able to integrate with the University's existing environment to get optimal return on our investment. We require an online reading list system which will provide students on and off campus with seamless access to a variety of resources, electronic, print and physical both held by the Library and available elsewhere.
