Procurement to support coordination of the supply chain for owner occupier retrofit at the local level

Tender description

As part of a wider programme of work to improve the energy performance of owner occupier properties, as set out in the Clean Growth Strategy , and the Call for Evidence on 'Building a market for energy efficiency' , BEIS is seeking to launch pilots to support coordination of the retrofit and renovation supply chain at a unitary authority level to deliver high quality retrofit projects. The funding awarded by BEIS would be used by up to three organisations in different areas over one and a half years to develop a sustainable model for driving retrofit in a local area, primarily amongst owner occupiers, in particular addressing the non-financial barriers to retrofit such as trust, hassle factor and lack of awareness.
