Tender description
At present a requirement exists for a Detection System to include: the supply of Passive Integrated Transponders (PIT tags), the supply of fixed in-river and mobile/hand-held detection systems for Passive Integrated Transponders (PIT) in migrating salmonids and eels. The Institute is currently using HDX PITs (Bio12.HDX 03V1 PLT) in salmon and trout. The proposed detection system must be compatible for the detection of these transponders. This is an Open Invitation to Tender where suitably qualified applicants are invited to respond for inclusion in a Single Supplier Framework Agreement in several parts that the Institute will draw from to supply PIT tags, mobile and fixed detection systems (readers and antennae), a data management system and a service level agreement for maintenance and troubleshooting from October 2017 to September 2021.
