Tender description

The University of Leeds is seeking tenders for a fully integrated Ultra High Vacuum, Low temperature, combined Scanning Tunnelling Microscope/Atomic Force Microscope and integrated Ultra High Vacuum preparation facilities, for the investigation of molecular and atomic scale physics on metallic, semiconducting, and insulating substrates. We seek responses for a complete, fully combined system, however it is recognised that a successful partnering arrangement can provide the required individual components as an integrated package. Preferably, the tender should be from a single vendor, although we may expect that service and support will be from the original manufacturer if the solution includes parts from multiple manufacturers. For this reason the tender is split into two parts, covering the physical instrument, and the control electronics/software interface for said instrument.
