Tender description
The EDXRF (Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometer) equipment is routinely used in laboratories for detecting the chemical components of solids, liquids, powders and thin films. It needs to deliver rapid qualitative and quantitative determination of major and minor atomic elements in a wide variety of sample types — with minimal standards. It needs to provide high sensitivity elemental analysis from 11Na to 92U, covering chemical elements of environmental and agricultural importance in Ireland and elsewhere (such as As, Cd, Cu, K, P, Mg, Mo, Pb, REEs, Zn).
