Prior information notice without a call for competition. This is a call for preliminary market consultations to inform a potential procurement exercise. This notice is being released to the market to allow interested parties - which could include Independent Providers, NHS Providers, Consortia and other suitably qualified organisations the opportunity to register an interest. University Hospitals of Leicester (UHL) is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified organisations who are able to provide innovative solutions - not necessarily based on current pathways or facilities footprint. Through the Provision of a Managed Service for the Transformation of Renal Dialysis Services within the East Midlands Renal network. UHL are seeking to achieve clinically and financially sustainable dialysis units across the Network with the capacity to meet the population’s renal replacement health needs with continued provision of a high-quality hemodialysis close to patients’ homes. The possible service specification could require various infrastructural developments such as new satellite dialysis units and refurbishment and/or re-equipment and adaptation of other existing dialysis units to facilitate and enable delivery of the clinical model and pathways and include; the provision and maintenance of facilities and equipment, the provision of HD consumables and clinical staff which could include in centre haemodialysis, taking place in main or satellite dialysis units, peritoneal dialysis and home hemodialysis. All organisations registering an interest (see section V1.3 for instructions) will be invited to pre-procurement engagement meetings with UHL representatives to discuss the thinking going forward and the opportunities that are seen for the Trust. Meetings will be individually scheduled following the closing date of the PIN.
