Suffolk County Council are tendering for a Domestic Abuse Outreach Service. This service will aim to support adults and their families (where a victim is assessed as being at a medium risk of harm) to provide advice, support and safety planning to reduce their assessed risk level. Suffolk County Council and the Suffolk Police and Crime Commissioner are working together to commission support services for people who are experiencing domestic abuse, we have agreed to align procurement processes to ensure that the right services are offered at the right time avoiding duplication and making the best use of resources. The Suffolk Police and Crime Commissioner are publishing a Prior Information Notice for Countywide Independent Domestic Violence Advisor Service and we will be hosting a joint engagement event on 22.2.2018.
