Tender description

This Contract Notice is issued by Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council (“the Council”) in connection with the competitive procurement of supported Living Services for people with learning disabilities in tenancies at Oak Close and John Street which are currently provided by Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH). The tender process was conducted in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The support will be personalised, flexible and meet people’s individual needs. Social inclusion will be promoted throughout all aspects of service delivery. The schemes will need to go through a period of change in terms of approach and culture to enable service users to have increased choice and control. This Invitation to Tender (“ ITT") was issued by Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council (“the Council”) in connection with the competitive procurement of supported living services for people with learning disabilities in tenancies at Oak close. It has become apparent that the services could more reasonably be delivered in a different way. The council now wants a different service offer for each of these schemes. The previous publication of the opportunity identified that this service would be delivered by the same type of staff. It is now clear that the support needs of the service users is different between these schemes and need to have different staffing requirements.
