Tender description

Buckinghamshire County Council wishes to commission for the coordination and delivery of an accommodation based Housing Support Service. The service will support 58 service users accessing homeless hostel beds or dispersed accommodation within the High Wycombe town centre location. The aim is to provide a supportive, empowering and non-judgemental service where service users are given the opportunity to make informed choices and develop life skills. The service should enable service users to achieve a level of independence appropriate to their choices, abilities and needs. The successful provider will be expected to work in partnership with health and social care service and the voluntary and community sector to prevent homelessness and events leading to homelessness and reduce factors leading to repeated homelessness. The contract start date is 1.9.2018. The contract term is 1 year with the option to extend for 1 further year. The budget for this service is: Project 2 (High Wycombe) GBP 198 000.
