Tender description
Molecular Pathology in Queen’s has an ever increasing reputation for high quality research and discovery in the field of biomarker discovery and biomarker image analysis. Central to this programme is the design, construction and utilization of tissue microarray from a wide variety of cancer subtypes. Currently we have less than 22 tumour or tumour subtype microarrays comprised of many thousands of patient samples. There is a constant need to construct new tissue microarrays from clinically relevant cohorts and to re-construct previously utilized tissue microarrays. This workload is becoming unfeasible for manual constructions which are very technically time-consuming.
