Iarnród Éireann (IE) has awarded a contract for the provision of multi-disciplinary consultancy services in respect of the detailed design for the proposed new National Train Control Centre (NTCC) Building at Heuston Station. Iarnród Éireann (IE) has awarded a contract for the provision of multi-disciplinary consultancy services in respect of the detailed design for the proposed new National Train Control Centre (NTCC) building at Heuston Station. The scope of services will include structural, architectural, civil, mechanical, electrical & telecommunications building design and quantity surveying services. This facility will replace the existing Centralised Traffic Control (CTC) centre currently located at Connolly Station. IE requires the services of a multi-disciplinary consultant to carry out the detailed design for the proposed new facility. The contract also includes an optional service of construction supervision & design support during the construction phase.
