AHDB Exports are looking for a German/English speaking Representative to cover the German market in the beef and lamb market. The representative will work jointly with beef and lamb exporters, agents, other representatives, importers, distributors, food service operators and retailers. The Representative must have deep knowledge of working with beef and lamb exporters within the German market, and must also have strong knowledge of this market. This project is for 3 years, and the successful representative must be based or have a commercial office based in Germany. There will be a break clause after each year. The successful Representative will be expected to liase closely with the AHDB Export team, and to represent on behalf of AHDB to local and overseas authorities, such as DIT, Embassies, Consulates and High Commissions. The Representative must be German/English speaking, and be based, or have an office based in Germany. They must have deep knowledge of the beef and lamb market within Germany and Austria. The successful representative will be principally engaged on the lamb and beef sectors, but may be required to cover market development work in the pork and dairy sectors. Some knowledge of these sectors would be an advantage.
