Summary of the work MCA Directorate of Safety and Standards (DMSS) have an requirement to maintain vessel Survey and Inspection certification to meet the UKs international obligations. The Eforms Developer will work within the ICT branch to support this work and manage availability and accuracy of content for a range of Agency E forms. Specialist role Developer Expected Contract Length 3 Months with possible extension. Latest start date Tuesday 2 January 2018 Who Speclialist Work With The Eforms Developer will be working with established teams across the Maritime Safety and Standards Directorate (DMSS), with support from ICT Service Delivery and Corporate Business Systems team. What Specialists Work On The Business Systems Specialist (E Forms) will undertake management of E Forms configuration, change requests, form testing, problems, service levels, performance, availability and recovery for a range of Agency business electronic forms. Key responsibilities will be to manage availability, accuracy of content and service continuity levels with customers and other departments for a range of Agency E forms using LiveCycle Designer ES and .XML to agreed Service Levels. Skills & Experience • 3+ years of experience of developing Adobe Forms • Test driven development experience • The ability to work with users to identify and document business requirements. • Experience in using Adobe Livecycle Designer ES • The ability to pick up new technologies quickly and apply them to business problems • Experience in working with a Service Desk and Service Call logging system Nice to Haves • Knowledge of XML • Experience of using HEAT service call logging system • Knowledge of SQL and databases (Oracle or SQL Server) Work Location The main location will be MCA HQ in Southampton. Spring Place, 105 Commercial Road, Southampton SO15 5HB Optional remote working once established. Working Arrangments Demand led with optional remote working. Normal office hours are 07:00 - 19:00 on weekdays.
