Tender description
A Better Start Southend (ABSS) is part of a ten-year programme set up by the Big Lottery Fund with the aim of transforming services for very young children. Southend-on-Sea is one of five sites that will share funding as the Programme develops. The “A Better Start Southend” (ABSS) programme is seeking to appoint a provider to deliver a childhood obesity prevention programme. We envisage this support consisting of a mixture of parent and practitioner training, recruitment of volunteers and 1 pilot initiative per year, pilot initiatives to be decided during the course of the contract.
