Tender description

East Sussex County Council wishes to procure an organisation to manage its music service as a concession contract. East Sussex Music is the county music service and lead organisation of the East Sussex Music Education Hub. It provides a range of musical opportunities for children and young people including whole class, small group and individual instrumental tuition, bands, ensembles, orchestras and choirs from beginner to advanced level and post-16 A level and BTEC music courses. It also provides an instrument hire service and contributes to the delivery of other roles expected of Hubs, such as CPD for schools. East Sussex Music Education Hub has confirmed funding from the Department of Education via the Arts Council of 642 865 GBP for 18/19 and 19/20 and the Music Service currently generates a fee income of approximately 1 710 000 GBP.
