Devon County Council and its partner commissioners are seeking to commission a residential short breaks service for disabled children and their families in Devon. The service will be delivered mainly from 4 properties throughout the administrative boundary of Devon County Council. The service will support in the delivery of the Children Act (1989): — the Breaks of Carers for Disabled Children Regulations (2011), — the SEND Code of Practice: — 0-25 years (2014), — the National Residential Contract for the placement of Children in Children’s Homes (2012).
