The purpose of the soft market testing is in 2 parts. First part, is to understand what products and services within the robotics solutions market are first to market and commercially available. The second objective is to share, with the supplier market the Severn Trent strategy for a robotics solution tender. In this respect, Severn Trent are seeking feedback and are looking to understand on how receptive the market is to our approach. Provisional tender documents will be shared as part of this briefing pack. We request that participants consider the following: 1) The robotic solutions should focus on Water Infra (condition assessment or pipe repair); 2) Severn Trent wishes to use the robotic solutions to act as launching customer/early adopter/first buyer of innovative commercial end-solutions newly arriving on the market.
